Camps
Camps and outdoor activities are seen as an integral part of the school's curriculum. In order to minimise disruptions to the rest of the curriculum it has been decided to hold the following camps.
Year 7 - Phillip Island (3 days) - Orientation and Adventure Camp
This camp is seen as an avenue for assisting students in coping with secondary school. The program is devised to improve student/staff and student/student relationships while developing outdoor skills. Adventure activities include: canoeing, surfing, bushwalking, raft building, archery, high ropes, giant swing and orienteering.
Year 9 - Wilson's Promontory (3 days) - Hiking/Surf Camp
This camp is part of the Year 9 outdoor education program. It is a compulsory part of the PM615 - Outdoor Education Program. Students complete a hike to either Sealer's Cove or Little Waterloo Bay and camp overnight. Students return to Tidal river where they spend a day surfing.
