All Victorian Government school jobs for Teachers, Principals, Assistant Principals and Education Support Staff (administration and student support services) are now advertised online at the following Department of Education and Early Childhood Development (DEECD) website: www.education.vic.gov.au/schooljobs

If you are seeking a position at Berwick Secondary College you are advised to access and apply through the above DEECD website for advertised positions at the College.  The College does, from time to time, advertise in The Age newspaper.  However, these ads will usually refer applicants to the above website for further details.

Prospective employees can use the above site to search and apply for the job of their choice.  When applying for a position, all applicants are required to submit an online resume and attach a written response to each of the selection criteria for that position.  At the close of applications, a school based selection panel will read these responses and then shortlist applicants for interview.

Casual Relief Teachers

Job seekers who are willing to work on a short term or casual relief basis are welcome to submit their resume (with contact details of nominated referees) to the College Principal.

Employment Criteria

Teachers must have current Victorian Institute of Teaching registration.

All Education Support Staff must hold a current Working with Children's Check.
