Second Hand Books
The College offers the Ross Miller Stadium as a venue for parents to swap and sell books at the end of each year. A list of second hand books that can be bought and sold will be attached to the booklists distributed to students.
Encourage your child to bring home books for sale. Perhaps sharing the profits will help remind them.
Second-hand
Book List
Procedure
- Bring all the books you wish to sell.
- All sales must occur in the centre - Please do not sell in the car park.
- Use the recommended price as a guide to price tagging - These are recommendations only but are fair. The condition of the book will obviously greatly affect this price.
- Year levels will be allocated areas of the stadium.
- Tables will be supplied for you to display books.
- You are responsible for displaying and selling your own books.
- Buy or barter for the books you require - A good idea is for two people to go, one to sell and the other to buy.
- It is your responsibility to get the right book - Staff will be available to assist with enquires.
- Bring plenty of change to buy/sell books - The school will not be providing any change.
- Remember to mark off on your booklist any books you may have purchased second hand.
- Booklists must be returned to the college library and placed in the box for the required Newsagency.
